SABC2 Telenovela Giyani Renewed For Its Second Season. Things are shifting in the land of TV shows and SABC2 has made a few changes to their programming recently. It has been reported that ‘Giyani: Land Of Blood’ will be making comeback to the channel in the year 2021.

The show which first aired in 2019 will be making its return for a second season and the fans are super excited for the cultural drama to take up space on the small screen once again.

The public expressed their disappointment after the show got canned by the channel after its first season however, after months of deliberation, things have turned around and the show will be taking over from popular Venda telenovela ‘Muvhango and ‘7 de Laan’.

Since the lockdown took place, the SABC has seen a decline in finances causing them to make some serious changes to their viewing schedule.

It was reported that the 7 de Laan and Muvhango have since been reduced to three airing days a week, as opposed to the usual five days.  The soapies will keep the same time slots, but not the same number of days.

The show featured a star-studded cast that includes the like of award winning singer and actress Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Mutsila, Wiseman Zitha, Candy Tsa Mandebele and more.
