Zola 7 Clears The Air On Unathi Dating Rumours. MacG has been doing the most with his podcast and one of his latest episodes featuring the legendary Zola 7 premiered on the big screen, and those who missed it finally got the chance to view it on YouTube.
During the interviews Zola broke down his entire career which spans over 20 years. The multi talent actor and musician shared light on a lot of things considering his career including certain rumours that have been brewing for years in the rumour mill.
According to Zola, he has been hearing allegations about him and SA Idols judge Unathi having been in a romantic relationship. The former Yizo Yizo star responded to the allegations claiming that they are not true as he and the radio host only had a work relationship which stemmed from having great chemistry.
“I’ve never dated Unathi, it’s just that the chemistry was really nice” Zola said.
The rapper took the viewers back to the time that he and Unathi met, after hearing a song of her play on radio while driving. Upon arriving in studio, Zola demanded his team find Unathi and her majestic voice. Zola cleared up the fact that this time was before she and her now ex husband Thomas Msengana became an item. According to Zola, he was absolutely stunned by her voice and even went as far as labelling her the African Lauren Hill.
After tracking down Unathi, Zola and his team discovered that she was very shy and welcomed her with a warm cup of coffee. Ina short while after Zola returned to the studio, Unathi was done with her verse on their 2002 hit single Sana Lwami. The rapper also shed light on his estranged 10 year old son whom he hasn’t seen in years, sharing that he has been trying to visit him but each attempt has unfortunately failed.
