In a video shared to Musa Khawula’s Instagram page, Nonku and Dumisani’s engagement took place in a glamorous atmosphere—with roses in the backdrop and a “marry me” sign creating an ethereal shimmering effect. Williams was beaming with excitement as her fiancé got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.
The show’s fan favourite’s engagement proposal was celebrated by many fans on social media. Many of her hardcore fans have since taken to social media to congratulate her for the journey to getting married. With some disapproving of the engagement and saying that her fiancé is not the right one for her.
The news of her engagement comes after Nonku introduced Ndlazi as her boyfriend in season three of the show. She had expressed her desire of finding love prior to them getting in a relationship and even making it official. Since the introduction of Ndlazi many stories of him being a nefarious and shady character have been surfacing online, with some of her fans advising Nonku to ignore the comments and allegations.
In a turn of events, amid the negative comments Dumisani had suprised Williams with a brand new luxurious car, a Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 SUV. To which an excited Nonku said: “I never imagined or expected anything like this from anyone. I think the only person who’s bought me a car was my mother.“
