Actress and singer Mbali Nkosi is celebrating two major milestones in her life — being on the cover of Glamour Magazine South Africa and releasing her first EP titled Elements.
The star shared a photo of her Glamour magazine cover and reflected on what the moment means to her. She wrote, “Some milestones aren’t just about the moment, they’re about the road that led you there. Being on the cover of Glamour is one of those milestones for me. It holds every step, every late night, every doubt pushed through, every small win that built into something bigger.”
She also opened up about her new music, which marks a turning point in her career. “Right now I have just released my debut EP, Elements — music that tells my story in sound. It marks a new chapter in my life and career, one where I’m choosing to create boldly and move with purpose. This cover and this project together feel like a full-circle moment, honouring where I’ve come from, and setting the tone for what’s next.”
She ended her post with heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this path. We keep going. We keep growing.”
Her EP Elements, which was released on May 23, explores themes of self-discovery and nature. Describing the creative process, she said: “Still smiling thinking about this EP. I had the absolute honour of working with some of the most gifted souls, artists whose talent didn’t just elevate the music… it filled it with feeling.
Every voice, every beat, every verse felt like it was meant to be there. No coincidence, just pure alignment, love, and magic. To everyone who poured into this project — you didn’t just fit the songs… you completed them. Thank you for making every track a story.”
She also shared what makes Elements so personal. “This one is really close to my heart — it’s a sonic journey through the five African elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Spirit. Each track represents a part of nature and the self — grounding, flowing, igniting, drifting, and transcending.”
