Vuyo Dabula Reportedly Says Goodbye To Generations: The Legacy. Actor Vuyo Dabula is not having a pleasant end to his year after his affair with a transgender woman was recently exposed. The actor has now received more bad news about his job at one of Mzansi’s most popular shows. Dabula who is known for his onscreen character on Generations, Gadaffi has reportedly left the show after his negotiations bombed.

Vuyo who has been on the soapie since 2014 is officially leaving the show for good after careful consideration by the production. According to a close source, Vuyo and the show producers had a long negotiation that clearly fell flat. The source claims the actor hasn’t been in studio for a while and his character has been written off the show.

Generations: The Legacy’s publicist Nandipha Pantsi has confirmed Vuyo’s exit from the show to TRUELOVE magazine and also revealed there will be two new additions to the cast. Pantsi didn’t reveal who will be joining the popular show but we sure are excited to see.

“It’s true that Vuyo is no longer a part of the show and he will be greatly missed, but I can confirm that there are two new additions to the show that viewers can look forward to.” she said.

This is not the first time that the actor has parted ways with the show to work on South Africa’s first original series Queen sono. The Daily Sun had previously reported that the producers of Generations gave the actor an ultimatum between the soapie and Queen Sono. Dabula chose to go with the Netflix production which came as a shock considering the soapie was the actors stable income.

The actor then changed his mind about leaving the SABC1 soapie after Queen Sono starring the beautiful Pearl Thusi was confirmed to not be getting a second season due to the pandemic and “trying times”. The actor has not yet commented on his exit from the soapie but we hope his fans won’t be too heartbroken.
