Somizi Celebrates Mary Twala‘s Epic Last Gig With Beyonce. Beyonce’s film, ‘Black Is King’ is set to premier tonight and Somizi is the proudest son as his mother, the late great Mary Twala is one of the many South African famous faces to star in the film.

This also happens to be the award winning actresses last film that she acted in before she passed away recently, and Somizi took to twitter to celebrate how he always referred to Mary as the Bonang or Beyonce of gogo’s only for it to come to fruition.

“Talk about ending a 60 year career with a BANG…..that’s my mom for u…….this was her last gig…..funny how I used to joke about how my mom is the beyonce or the bonang of the gogos….and bammmm she ends up working with @beyonce Super proud son” Somizi wrote

The film is set to premier on MNet tomorrow tonight with the likes of Nandi Madida Connie Chiume, Warren Masemola and many more iconic local celebrities also set to appear in the film.
