Rhythm City Actress Tests Positive For COVID-19! It looks like more local productions are shutting down for the second time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This past week it was The River, Muvhango and Skeem Saam shutting down after actors and production team members tested positive for COVID-19 and now Rhythm City has followed suit.
An actress on the show, whose name has not been disclosed reportedly tested positive for COVID-19. The actress was apparently already self-isolating.
“We found out on Tuesday about her test. We were told the cast and crew would shoot enough episodes until we return to work. We will be off for two weeks,” a close source told Daily Sun.
“We are waiting for results. Until then our studios will be disinfected and sanitized,” the show’s publicist Tumi Mohlala said on the rest of the crew and cast members who were in close contact with the actress.
