Sizwe recently revealed that when Rhythm City began, twelve years ago, a main character then, on the show was written and created specifically for him but he turned it down because acting is not his thing.
“You know the role on the eTV soapie from about twelve years ago? Character name Suffocate? That role was written for me but when the director approached me, I told him acting wasn’t my thing. True story… Apologies, Sbu is the role. Not Suffo,” Sizwe revealed.
The ‘Sbu Vilakazi’ character was one of the most love local soapie characters for so many years on the show and it made a star out of Lungile Radu.
Almost thirteen years later, Sizwe’s luck has not run dry. The veteran VJ recently revealed in an Instagram LIVE how his new gig as Radio host at Kaya FM was offered to him by the station MD, Greg Maloka.
