Grammy award-winning artist Makhadzi continues to rise and shine on the global stage — this time making waves at the prestigious All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The talented star took to social media to share her inspiring journey, emotional reflections, and proud moments as a featured panelist at one of Africa’s biggest music events.

Sharing a series of stunning pictures from the event, Makhadzi expressed her joy and growth, writing:

“Our first day of @afrima.official CONFERENCE was the best of the best. I have learnt a lot and I can’t wait to share with others SOON. Years back my people made fun of my engrish… today I am one of the penalist of BIGGEST AWARDS IN AFRICA. It all started as a dream the rest is a history.”

It’s not just about the trophies — it’s about empowering artists, uplifting communities, and preserving African heritage through music. This year’s AFRIMA activities took place over two days, on May 13 and 14, and featured major announcements including the unveiling of the 2025 AFRIMA calendar and host city.
