Rami Chuene Clarify’s The Ongoing Marriage Speculations. It no secret that celebs get a kick out of duping fans into believing false information and actress Rami Chuene definitely got us with this one. During the heritage month, Rami Chuene posted a photo of herself wearing a wedding dress with the caption leading fans to believe that she was the bride.
It turns out that it was all just a lie and she was actually shooting for the new season of SABC2’s Giyani: Land Of Blood. Taking to social media, Rami shared the trailer of the drama’s upcoming season and it looks like it about to go down. In the trailer Chuene seems to be embroiled in a shootout on her wedding day.
The actress captioned the post thanking her family and friends for going along with the prank as it turned out bigger than she expected. Chuene also revealing that she received her parents had to defend her from angry relatives, thinking she really got married.
“Well, in my defense I never said….??Thank you to ALL my family and friends for playing along. You were all amazing. Your time, your NDA responses and the vibe you caused went beyond my expectations. My poor parents fielded calls from very upset relatives! Thanks ” she wrote.
Rami also thanked the Tshedza Pictures production team for also going with the joke and trusting her with such an amazing project.

The actress seems to have had a lot of help in pulling wool over our eyes as she extended her thanks to True Love magazine and entertainment broadcaster Phil Mphela for adding fuel to the fire.
Chuene also let it be known that if she were to ever tie the knot again, she would make sure to keep it on the low and nobody would ever find out. She did however appreciate the well wishes and has urged TV lovers to watch the new season of Giyani on Sabc2 from Mondays-Wednesday at 21:30.
