The Mseleku family is celebrating a proud and joyful moment as their daughter, Mpilo Mseleku, graduates from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Mpilo earned a Bachelor of Social Science degree, and the entire family couldn’t be happier.
Known from the popular reality TV shows Uthando Nes’thembu and Izingane Zes’thembu, Mpilo’s achievement has drawn love and support from fans across the country. Her graduation marks not only an academic milestone but also a deeply emotional family celebration.
Family patriarch Musa Mseleku shared how special the day was for them all. He gave thanks to both Mpilo’s biological mother and her stepmother, Thobile Mseleku, who played key roles in her life and education. “She made sure that she went to school all the way to university, where she graduated. Siyabonga kakhulu, Mzilikazi omkhulu, for showing Mzansi that we can do it,” Musa said with pride.
He went on to say, “Mpilo, you must always remember that your mother made this possible. And to your biological mother — thank you for the opportunity. We can only thank God for your achievements, Mpiloenhle Aphile Mseleku.”
The University of KwaZulu-Natal also acknowledged her success on social media. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), they wrote:
