Pics! Checkout A Sneak Peek Of Pearl Thusi In The New Season 2 Of The Netflix Series Wu Assassins. Pearl Thusi has been at work on a few big projects and the wait is finally over. Our girl represented Mzansi last year after bagging a role on season 2 of the Netflix production Wu Assassin. Thusi left for a period of 2 Months In Thailand while shooting the production.
The action series set in San Francisco’s mysterious Chinatown, tells the story of Kai Jin, a young chef chosen to be the Wu Assassin, a “heroic killer” who must not only save the world from the powerful and dangerous Wu, but also navigate the morality of his newfound calling while hiding his secret from those closest to him.
While on set, Pearl often shared a lot of content via her Instagram account about her adventures in Thailand including her martial arts training for the production, which was no child’s play. Netflix has now dropped all the details about the premiere of the production which will be arriving very soon. Netflix has revealed on twitter that Wu Assassin will be premiering on February 17th and TV lovers are super psyched.
Pearl also gushed over the post sharing how excited she is for the masses to watch the show and misses the cast and crew from the production very much.
“Can’t wait for you guys to see this. I miss this cast and crew so much!” she wrote.
Pearl did the things on a few international productions recently including action and adventure film The Scorpion King, and action series Quantico, where she played Dayana Mampasi.
Pearl also made us proud as the lead actress on Netflix’s first-ever original series Queen Sono. The talented actress, media personality, and entrepreneur played a spy of the Special Operations Group and the daughter of a fallen South African revolutionary leader. Congratulations to Pearl and we are saving the dates to watch her do her thing in the much-anticipated production.
