Phat Joe Spills The Tea On What Happened Between Him And Khanyi Mbau When They Worked Together. Veteran television and radio host Phat Joe is one of the most controversial celebs in Mzansi and it goes without saying that when he is attendance, its going to be quite the experience.

The Cheeky Palate host was recently a guest on the most talked about podcasts at the moment, Podcast And Chill with MacG and Solphenduka. Throughout the interview, Phat Joe gave some juicy information about his career and personal life but, what we were more fascinated by was his entanglement with the queen of bling, Khanyi Mbau.

Khanyi and Phat Joe were once upon a time co-hosts on a weekend show ‘Weekend Edition’ on SABC 3 in 2016 and it appears that the two have a romantic history. The radio host didn’t delve into how he and Khanyi became close but he did spill on how it ended.

According that Joe, after the show he and Khanyi got closer and every time he would invite her out somewhere, she would just ditch him. The TV host seems to be more understanding of the person that Khanyi is and he knew that she was all about the fast life.

“Khanyi’s more like, if she has three options, she’ll go for the one that’s more lit in her mind” he said.

He also refrained from saying to much because Khanyi is in a happy relationship at the moment and he is very mindful of it.

“She’s in a relationship right now, she’s happy” he candidly said.

What some might be thinking is how the brief romance seems to overlap with her previous on and off relationship with Tebogo Lerole, but that’s tea for another day.

Phat Joe continued to explain the dynamic os how celebs end up dating one another and apparently it’s because they are always around one another so it becomes inevitable.

He also revealed that his first celeb girlfriend was former Jam Alley host ‘Pushie’, whom he fell in love with from a magazine and after he met her, the rest was history.
