Rapper and television personality Nomuzi ‘Moozlie’ Mabena is set to bring her hosting skills to Bloemfontein as she takes on the role of host for the 10th edition of Free State Fashion Week (FSFW).
The highly anticipated two-day fashion event will take place at Bloemfontein City Hall on Friday, 16 October, and Saturday, 17 October 2026. Proceedings are scheduled to begin at 6pm on both evenings, with designers preparing to showcase their work on the runway.
Moozlie confirmed the news in a joint Instagram post, sharing her excitement about being part of the fashion celebration in the Free State.
“The rumours are true I am going to be hosting the Free State Fashion Week runway show and it’s going to be crazy the whole of Metro FM is going to be there!” she wrote.
Her announcement has added to the excitement surrounding this year’s edition, which marks a significant milestone for the fashion event as it celebrates its 10th edition.
Free State Fashion Week is a fashion and lifestyle event held in Bloemfontein. Its primary aim is to showcase the talent of designers from the Free State and across South Africa. The platform brings together established names and emerging designers, giving them an opportunity to present their creativity and collections to audiences.
Beyond the runway, the event also places emphasis on culture, diversity and creativity, highlighting the different perspectives and styles that contribute to South Africa’s fashion industry.
Organisers have encouraged guests to prepare for a celebration of fashion and extraordinary talent as designers present their latest collections. The programme will include work from established designers as well as emerging fashion stars who are looking to make their mark in the industry.
Students from the Free State Fashion Hub will also be part of the showcase, offering them an opportunity to display their designs alongside those of more established creatives.
