Nokuthula Mavuso Reveals Her Current Battle With COVID-19. South Africa is official in its third wave of the pandemic and the new variant of the virus is affecting more people by the day. We have seen many celebrities open up on social media about contracting the deadly virus and yet another well known actress has revealed that she is currently infected by the virus.

Taking to twitter, Nokuthula Mavuso revealed that she is currently suffering from the virus. The Abomama actress shared that she mistakenly thought that she had a cold because her symptoms which included slight coughing, were minor. Mavuso revealed that she has not had any of the known COVID symptoms like body aches, fatigue and a sore throat.

“Day 5 of what I thought was a “cold”, kanti Covid_19 Slight cough No body aches Sore throat has subsided Not feeling tired” she wrote.

Followers and industry mates responded to the post with get well soon messages and motivational words to assure the actress that she does have the strength to fight the dreaded virus. Another celeb who has revealed that she is suffer from COVID-19 is TV mogul and businesswoman Minnie Dlamini Jones.

The HomeGround presenter took to social media to share that she and her family are going through a very tough time in their household. Minnie revealed that her family is currently on a hiatus as they are experiencing the third wave of COVID-19, and are in great need of prayer.

The mother of one warned her followers that the virus is no walk in the park and people should tale care of themselves.

“My family and I are currently out of commission….COVID is real and this wave is HECTIC!!! Stay safe and keep us in your prayers!!” she wrote.
