Imbewu: The Seed Actor Jovan Muthray Dies

Imbewu: The Seed Actor Jovan Muthray Dies! The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of yet another great South African comedian and actor Jòvan Muthray who died on Sunday. 

Muthray is well known for appearing on many shows such as SABC 2’s Karektas, Ayeye, and many more including his current role on e.tv’s prime time drama series Imbewu: The seed.

The actor was also passionate about stage acting having played the lead role in many theatre productions including Takalani, Sex & Me; The Interview, and more.

The cause of death for the young actor is still unknown and his family have not released a statement yet. Condolences from fellow actors, friends and fans have been pouring in since the sad news was revealed.

“I will miss all our deep conversations, our road trips, witnessing you on stage, creating work together, sharing coffee and a drink or two till early hours of the morning and laughing at any moment we got. Thank you for the contribution you have made in my life and the many joys and mile stones we have shared together. I am shattered at your loss and will miss you so deeply” Leonie Ogle-Brooks said.
