Ella Mai to Headline Konka Kulture Weekend in South Africa

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Ella Mai is coming to South Africa, and fans are already counting down the days. The R&B star is set to perform two exciting shows in April 2026, bringing her smooth vocals and emotional hits to local stages.

The Ella Mai singer will take to the stage at the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday, 25 April 2026. The performance forms part of the highly anticipated Konka Kulture Weekend. After her Sun City show, she will travel to Cape Town for a second performance at GrandWest on Sunday, 26 April.

Ella Mai will headline the Konka Kulture Weekend, a three-day lifestyle and music experience hosted in partnership with Konka and Vertex Events, in association with Sun City. The event promises a mix of great music, fashion, and entertainment, attracting fans from across the country.

Since stepping into the global spotlight in 2014, Ella Mai has continued to grow into one of the most respected voices in modern R&B. She released her EP Time in 2016 and followed it with Ready in 2017. However, it was her breakout single Boo’d Up that truly changed everything. The song became an international hit and won her a Grammy Award. She continued her success with popular tracks like Trip, as well as fan favourites such as Naked, Shot Clock and She Don’t.

Her latest studio album, Do You Still Love Me, highlights her growth as an artist and songwriter. The project shows her maturity and ability to connect with listeners through honest and emotional storytelling.

Sun City Convention Centre Manager Nombuso Buthelezi expressed her excitement about hosting the award-winning star.
