Things are not looking well for DJ Zinhle’s boyfriend Brendon Naidoo who was arrested this past weekend on fraud charges. DJ Zinhle’s boyfriend to spend Easter weekend in prison.
Brendon reportedly appeared in court at the Alexandra magistrate’s court on Monday. His mother Ramela Reddy and family members were reportedly there to support him.
Magistrate Boshoff said Brendon would have to wait for his next court date on 18 April 2017 while evidence is being gathered by all parties involved. “We have just come to see Brendon and once we get the all evidence we will be able to give an update, for now we cannot give too much,” Brendon’s lawyers, Mr Abaner from Mngcebisa Attorneys said.
DJ Zinhle and her friend Lerato Kganyago reportedly went to see Brendon in the early hours of the Monday morning to try and speak to him, but were not allowed due to strict visiting hours.
Reports say if Brendon is found guilty he could be facing a possible 25 years in jail.
