DJ Lady Amar, one of South Africa’s most beloved female DJs, has once again proved her star power, clinching the Best Star Female DJ of the Year 2024 at the prestigious Shinning Stars Africa Awards. Although she couldn’t attend the event, Lady Amar took to Instagram to express her heartfelt gratitude. She shared a picture of her award, accompanied by a touching caption that read, “God? Thank you. Amar Million Gang? Y’all did it for me once again, thank you for always supporting me. @shinningstars.awards.africa, thank you for the recognition. I’m really sad that I couldn’t attend, but thank you from the bottom of my heart. This means a lot to me. A Shinning Star Africa award-winning.”

Actress Lethabo Mekoa took home the award for Best Star Actress of the Year 2024, solidifying her status as one of the country’s top acting talents.
The Mommy Club’s Happy Simelane, a reality TV sensation, won the award for Best Star Reality TV Show of the Year 2024, highlighting her ability to captivate audiences with her candid and relatable content.
The dynamic duo, CentTwinz, comprising of Millicent Mashile and Innocent Sadiki, also won the award for Best Star Podcast of the Year 2024. Millicent Mashile also bagged the award for Best Star Media Personality of the Year 2024.
