Pearl Modiadie Explains Why She Won’t Comment On Pregnancy Reports. Word has recently got out that television presenter and radio host Pearl Modiadie is expecting her first child and we are beyond excited for her.

Pearl has come out to confirm the news although she unfortunately is unable to elaborate on the news as it goes against the customs of her culture.

“Out of respect for my culture, I prefer not to talk about my pregnancy,” she said.

According to Sunday World the news was revealed by two close sources who confirmed that Modiadie is indeed expecting. 

“She is pregnant and she is excited because this is her first experience, so you can imagine. She has been trying to keep this thing a secret because her culture does not allow her to talk about pregnancy, even though the bump is now visible and no longer hideable,” said the source.

The Sources further revealed that preparations are underway for Pearls baby Daddy to soon meet with her family, to pay for the damages honoring their tradition. 

“He knows the African culture very well, so he has no qualms with paying damages” they said.

This is the second time that Pearl has been suspected to have a bun in the oven after she was meant to say her I do’s with her ex-fiance Nkululeko Buthelezi in 2018 although, she denied the allegations.
