Mia Le Roux Enjoys Romantic Minimoon with Husband

Former Miss South Africa 2024 and inclusivity advocate Mia Le Roux, now Mia ten Oever following her marriage, is enjoying a romantic minimoon with her husband, Luke ten Oever.

The newlyweds tied the knot on 16 October 2026 and have since taken some time away to celebrate their new chapter together.

Mia and Luke enjoyed their minimoon at Fifty Seven Waterberg, a luxurious five-star safari lodge situated within the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve.

The couple appeared to make the most of their getaway, enjoying everything the luxury destination had to offer. From relaxing in the swimming pool to going on game drives and indulging in delicious meals, the newlyweds had plenty of special moments to remember.

Taking to Instagram, Mia gave her followers a glimpse into their minimoon, sharing beautiful pictures of herself and her husband enjoying their time together. The photographs captured their romantic dinner experiences, safari adventures and relaxing moments at the lodge.

However, it was Mia’s heartfelt message to her husband that stood out. The former beauty queen expressed how grateful she felt to be married to Luke and shared how much their time together meant to her.

She wrote:

“Minimoon at @57waterberg with my husband. Ahhh l’m a whole wife! I feel so blessed and honoured to have you as my husband @luke_tenoever &2 You truly have one of the best hearts l’ve ever encountered. You are kind and gentle and I LOVE YOU.

Spending this time with you in our little bubble has been so special. We will forever remember lounging in the pool, the amarula hot chocolates, the beautiful bushveld safaris and eating three-course meals every night until we had to waddle to bed.

With each meal we thought it couldn’t get better then we would just be blown away again! I still dream about that oh so tender wagyu beef with the bone marrow aioli. I will never forget how one night with the sweetest smile you told me you met the fairies who clean our room and make sure everything is stocked up and tidy as we never see them. It did feel so magical. It is understandable why this lodge is a 5-star luxury safari lodge.
