South African traditional healer, reality television star and entrepreneur Gogo Maweni, whose real name is Makgotso Lee-Anne Makopo, has given fans a glimpse of her new look following cosmetic weight-loss surgery.
The reality star, who celebrated her 40th birthday in August, travelled to Turkey with her husband, Sabelo, for the procedure.
Since returning, Gogo Maweni has kept followers updated on her recovery and transformation. She recently showed off her pixie cut while driving, alongside a heartfelt message reflecting on her personal growth.
“To the woman I was, I love you. Thank you for being strong when life felt heavy and for carrying dreams you weren’t sure you’d reach. To the woman I am, l’m proud of you. You’ve grown, healed, and learned to choose yourself in ways you never used to. To the woman I’ll be, l’m excited for you.”
The post highlighted both her new appearance and the personal journey she has undergone.
In an earlier post, Gogo Maweni also discussed her recovery and lymphatic drainage sessions after the surgery. She said she was already pleased with her progress after only a few sessions.
“Today is my third lymphatic drainage session for my surgery that av done in Turkey and I’m already so happy with my results! Everything is coming together beautifully, and I honestly cannot wait to reveal my body. The progress is giving me that WOW feeling!”
Her latest posts have given fans a closer look at her transformation as she continues documenting her recovery.
