Nosiki “Noksie” Khumalo has opened up about her time on The Mommy Club Season 3, sharing her honest thoughts in an emotional reflection following the release of the second part of the reunion. As reported by Showmax Stories, Noksie—one of this season’s most talked-about newcomers—was at the centre of the show’s biggest drama and quickly became a fan favourite.
Speaking about her experience on the Showmax reality show, Noksie admitted that things were not as glamorous as she had imagined. “Honestly, it wasn’t what I expected. I went in thinking I’d be surrounded by empowered, thriving boss babes, women glowing from the inside out. Instead, I found myself among people carrying a lot of hurt and sadness, which was honestly quite disheartening,” she said.
Still, Noksie managed to achieve her goals, especially when it came to building her brand. “I’m really happy that sellers are now approaching me directly, which has definitely made things easier for my real estate business,” she said.
When asked if she expected the positive reaction from fans, Noksie shared that she was surprised. “Honestly, I didn’t see that coming. I was nervous about how I’d be received… but the love and support from the public have been so reassuring.”
Life has certainly changed for her. “People recognise me everywhere I go, and it’s all love. I’m truly grateful for that,” she added. Even South African celebrity Khanyi Mbau reached out to her. “What a queen! I’m truly grateful,” she said.
As for friendships on the show, Noksie revealed that she has only stayed close with Mrs J. “She’s been my girl from day one,” she shared. However, she admitted she hasn’t spoken to Pheladi since filming ended and feels okay with that.
She also responded to claims of misleading editing. “The production team is simply doing their job. If you don’t want to be perceived a certain way, don’t behave that way,” she said firmly.
Regarding Hermajesty’s reunion apology, Noksie said, “I don’t think that her apology was sincere, but I just wanted to move on and move away.”
For any mom wanting to join The Mommy Club, Noksie’s advice is simple: “Be yourself. That’s the most powerful thing you can be.”
