Media personality, actor and socialite Somizi Mhlongo is getting ready to bring viewers a new show as he prepares to launch his upcoming podcast, Life Lessons with Somizi, on television.
The star has announced that the show will premiere on S3 on Monday, 2 November 2026. Viewers can look forward to watching the programme from 18:00 until 19:00, with Somizi leading conversations with special guests.
Somizi also gave fans a glimpse of what to expect by sharing the trailer for the upcoming show. The preview introduces some of the special guests who will be joining him for conversations, giving viewers an idea of what is in store when the programme finally arrives on their screens.
The announcement comes after Somizi first revealed his plans for the podcast in August 2026. At the time, the entertainer expressed his excitement about stepping into this new venture and encouraged his supporters to subscribe to his YouTube channel.
Sharing his enthusiasm, Somizi said, “They say never say never, of course I got to learn the hard way or the most beautiful way because now I cannot believe I am going to say these words, please subscribe to my YouTube channel. The podcast is loading, Life Lessons with Somizi.”
He also explained how personally invested he was in the project, making it clear that the upcoming show means a lot to him.
“You are going to love it because I am so invested in this emotionally, spiritually and mentally,” he added.
With the premiere date now confirmed, fans will soon get the opportunity to see Somizi explore different conversations with his guests. The programme also marks another addition to the entertainer’s growing list of projects.
However, Life Lessons with Somizi is not the only television programme viewers can expect to see him on in November.
Somizi is also set to host Ask A Man, which will air on S3. The programme is scheduled to run from 19:00 until 20:00, following Life Lessons with Somizi.
Ask A Man is a popular relationship advice feature on South Africa’s METRO FM radio station. The segment is now expanding to television, bringing its relationship-focused conversations to a wider audience.
For its television edition, Somizi will be joined by the Naked DJ, whose real name is Quinton Masina, and comedian Vafa Naraghi. Together, the three hosts will take on the new TV version of the relationship advice feature.
The two programmes will give viewers an opportunity to watch Somizi in different roles, from hosting conversations with special guests on Life Lessons with Somizi to discussing relationship matters on Ask A Man.
With both shows arriving on S3, November is shaping up to be a busy month for the media personality as he continues to expand his presence on television.
