Nadia Nakai On What Made Her Uncomfortable About Bonang’s Debut On ‘Young, Famous & African’. The second season of Netflix reality series, ‘Young, Famous & African’ is still a hot topic and fans of the show still have burning questions on the most talked about storylines of the season.

One of the most talked about and anticipated storylines was Bonang and Nadia’s interactions, not only because they used to be close friends but because Bonang’s past relationship with Nadia’s boyfriend, the late rapper, AKA. On the show, both Nadia and Bonang made it clear they had no interest in having a conversation.

“I think people expect me to have an issue with Nadia, but I don’t have any desire to have any conversation with her,” Bonang said on the show. Nadia shed a bit of light on how their friendship ended saying it wasn’t because of AKA. “With my situation with Bonang then, I think I was more heartbroken ’cause I really felt like she was my sis. You know, things happen in relationships. You just fall out and it’s okay,” Nadia explained on the show.

Now the rapper is getting candid on what made her uncomfortable about Bonang’s entrance on the show. Speaking to IOL, Nadia revealed that Bonang joining the show was made a secret and she didn’t understand the reasoning behind it.

“It was uncomfortable for me because it was very secretive, I don’t understand why it had to be secretive. You know just be honest about what is going on. Honestly, it was not a problem because you always bump into your man’s exes in the world,” Nadia told the publication.

She went on to add that it was everyone from Andile to Swanky who tried to make a big deal out of the situation when she felt it wasn’t that deep that Bonang had joined the show.

“And I’m mature enough to hold myself together if I feel uncomfortable and be professional and decent and keep it moving and some people aren’t.”
