Tsholo Matshaba Defends The River’s Makeup Team From Twitter Critic! Hit telenovela The River has been the topic of discussion for over a week now mostly for a job well done on the past few episodes.
Social media has been praises the talent on the show, from the actors to the writers, the producer and camera crew. But one department that got criticized was the makeup team. One tweep aired their thoughts on the makeup of of the Paulina character suggesting they did her dirt.
In response, Tsholo Matshaba schooled the tweep reminding her that characters represent real life people and the makeup was intended to be exactly like it showed.
“Characters are a representation of real people, in a real world, in terms of this story #TheRiver1Magic. Have you never seen a Paulina? Big up to The River make-up department @bongimlotshwa,” she tweeted.
