‘Sobulala Van Damme’ Hitmaker Mroza Reacts To MetroFM Awards Snub

Social media was not pleased with MetroFM not nominating Mroza for his hit single ‘Sobulala Van Damme’, the artist himself is finally speaking out on how he really feels about the ‘snub’. ‘Sobulala Van Damme’ hitmaker Mroza reacts to MetroFM Awards snub.

Apparently Mroza is not bothered by the snub nor does he feel ignored. “Mroza is fine with everything and understands that the station has its own way of doing things,” Mroza’s manager Thobela Dlamini told a local publication.

Meanwhile SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago says the reason Van Damme was not nominated is because it’s not playlisted on the station.

“Certain genres are not playlisted on the station. That is why we do not have a reggae or Maskandi category at the awards. It is not about a certain song. We did not change the rules for a specific song. These rules have always been in place and we cannot change them,” he said.
