Sindi Dlathu Bags New International Role. Whilst her career spans over two decades, it’s only in the last couple of years we’ve gotten to experience actress Sindi Dlathu’s versatility and how incredible of an actress she is.
Her portrayal of Lindiwe Dikana on the hit telenovela The River elevated her career, celebrity status and unlocked a new level of fame for her, not forgetting the Awards that came with it and the promotion as one of the co-executive producer for the show. And now she’s stepping into another level of success following announcement that she has been cast in the upcoming international series about Shaka.
Sindi will portray the role of Inyoni, a counsel leader and midwife in the epic drama series King Shaka. Her role will reportedly be recurring. Other cast members from South Africa in the international series include Tony Kgoroge. It is produced by SA’s Gugu Zuma-Ncube and Nigerian filmmakers Olu Odebunmi and Tolu Awosika.
