SA Celebs Who Paid Tributes And Condolences To Late Veteran Actor Menzi Ngubane. It is with great sadness that we confirm the news of veteran actor Menzi Ngubane‘s death and tributes have since been pouring in from fans and fellow local celebs. It has been reported that the actor died of a stroke on March 13th 2021 and many people are still trying to come to terms with the tragic loss.

Ngubane has an impressive acting career spanning longer than 30 years in the industry and was best known for his roles on popular television shows such as Yizo Yizo, Isibaya, Generations, Gold Diggers and many more. Menzi was 56 years old at the time of his passing.

Menzi Ngubane has been struggling with complicated health issues which include diabetes and kidney disease for a many years. His family has since issued a statement about his death claiming that the actor tried spread more awareness and kill the stigma surrounding the above health ailments.

“Menzi spent much of his time in trying to demystify issues relating to kidney disease and sugar diabetes while promoting positive lifestyle changes needed to cope with the diseases” the statement reads.

Last year it was reported that the actor was admitted to the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital due to complications from a kidney transplant operation that he had received more than ten years ago. Ngubane‘s wife Sikie Ngubane later confirmed that her husbands condition was back on track after he complained about pain and was then taken to the doctor.

Since the medical visit, he then returned home to recuperate and return back to his daily activities. In the very same year, Menzi joined the cast of The Queen when Executive producer, Connie Ferguson commented on Menzi’s situation after his debut had do be delayed after he became ill, stating that they were thrilled that the actor was joining the cast and were praying for his health to return.

The actor passed away at his Ladysmith Home in KwaZulu-Natal and local celebs have been sending their condolences to fans and family of the actor, sharing stories of their encounters with Menzi and how he impacted the world of acting. Funeral arrangements for late veteran actor Menzi Ngubane are expected to be finalised later on Monday.
