SA Celebs Who Bagged New Qualifications In 2021. There are a few milestones in Life that deserve to celebrated and that is completing a qualification and officially becoming a graduate. The year has been long one for a lot of people but but there are a few highlights to the year that have kept us going and one of them is watching student bagging their qualifications and officially becoming graduates.

Weather young or old, graduation is a huge deal for everyone and we are happy to have witnessed some of our favourite celebs level up their qualifications and we couldn’t be any happier for them. It was quite inspirational to see a number of our celebrities achieve their goals this year despite how successful their careers in the industry might be. 2021 may have robbed many people of the graduation ceremony they deserve but having another qualification as back up is always a great idea and we are celebrating all of it..

Here are the celebs who all bagged new qualifications in the year 2021.

Shudufhadzo Musida

Miss SA 2020, Shudufhadzo Musida graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with an honours degree in International Relations. 

Noxolo Grootboom

Veteran journalist and new broadcaster Dr Noxolo Grootboom was awarded an honorary doctorate by Rhodes University for her significant promotion of national pride and culture throughout her career which spanned a total of 37 years at the SABC.

Shauwn Mkhize

Dr Shauwn Mkhize received an honorary doctorate in Philosophy for her charitable efforts in communities from Good Shepherd College of Religion and Training which is a Christian institution.

Mmabatho Montsho

Actress, writer and director Mmabatho Montsho achieved a Masters of Arts In Writing For Script And Screen.  Montho shared the lengthy period that she had to wait for this day to happen. Mmabatho revealed she completed studying her masters in 2019 and was supposed to graduate in 2020, but the pandemic caused a huge delay.

Mapaseka Mokwele

Media personality Mapaseka Mokwele also bagged a masters degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and shared how very proud she is of the milestone on her social media.

Cedric Fourie

Durban Gen actor Cedric Fourie graduated just recently at UCT graduate. Although he did not reveal what his qualification is, fans and followers flooded the post with congratulatory messages, applauding him for the hard work he has put in.
