Popular Podcaster MacG Dragged For Homophobic Content On His Latest Show. MacG has become a fave when it comes to local YouTubers for his dope interviews with trending celebrities on his show’ Podcast And Chill With MacG’.
The likes of Zodwa Wabantu, Bontle Modiselle, Pearl Thusi, Duduzane Zuma and the latter have graced the show with their presence and the latest guest on the show is singer, songwriter and DJ extraordinaire Sol Phenduka. Needless to say the pair have since been at the top od the twitter trends for their transphobic and homophobic comments on the episode.
The pair have come under fire from celebrities and the streets of twitter for not only using the offensive term “Shemale” to describe a transgender woman but also for all the homophobic remarks that were made throughout the segment.
The subject of LGBTQI came up and Sol began to mention public figures who have been involved in scandals involving transgender women, such as Migos rapper Offset and soccer star Wayne Rooney.
“Shemale but I think that’s a bad term, like a woman with a d*ck” Sol said.
“Wayne Roooooney,that’s where he gets his ball control from and he’s laying on Man’s chest” Sol said.
This is not MacG’s first fall out with the LGBTQI community as he was previously fired from youth radio station YFM, for the same offence and it looks like he has fallen back to his old ways, but needless to say, the people are livid!!

Critics and celebrities have since responded to the clip of MacG and Sol that has since gone viral, expressing their disappointment in the pair for insensitive and ignorant remarks to the LGBTQI community.
The latest news is that MacG has since been dropped by Old Mutual, who recently became an investor of the show. The company released a public statement sighting that they do not associate with insensitive and ignorant commentary, and the YouTuber still needs to learn a lot.
“We have decided to terminate the relationship with MacG, with immediate effect.” the statement reads.
MacG’s podcast was recently listed as one as one of the YouTube Black Voices Africa Class of 2021, and we don’t think that this is not going to be a good look at all for him.
