A lot of our local celebrities became first time parents since the lockdown came in to play last year, and since this month was extra special for them because they celebrated motherhood for the very first time.

This Sunday was Mother’s day and the first time mom decided to spoil herself and her bundle of joy Lewatle, with a brand new car. Taking to Instagram, Pearl revealed that she just bought herself a brand new car as a gift to herself for pushing her adorable son into the world. The former radio host revealed the sentiment of Mother’s Day, claiming that the day has now found a new meaning as it once was a reminder of her loss but now it serves to remind her of the blessing that she has been gifted, that being her son.

“I gifted myself a push present in celebration of my first Mother’s Day ✨ #MommyCar#ForBabyLewatleAndMommy. For the longest time Mother’s Day was a reminder of what I had lost, but now I celebrate what I have been given… the gift of being a mom” she wrote.
