Pic! Gail Mabalane Remembers Her Late Brother On His Birthday. The loss of a family member is one of the hardest things to experience and actress Gail Mabalane has lost two people who were very close to her. Even though they may not be around anymore, the actress is still keeping the memory of her late loved ones alive.

Taking to Instagram, Gail shared a throwback family photo as a young girl with her brother and mother. The Blood And Water actress shared how the month of November is strange for her as her father, brother and mother all celebrate their birthdays on this month.

Unfortunately all three of them are no longer with us but, Gail is still left with all of the good memories. Today marks a special day for the actress and she remembered her brother Craig who would be celebrating his birthday.

“Mom, brother, me. ? November is a strange month for me. It’s my dad, my mom & my brother’s birthday month…all late. ?? But, we thank God for God. ?? Happy heavenly birthday to my brother, Craig” she wrote. 

In a previous interview, Gail revealed that her mother passed when she was 21 years old and her brother passed six months after. Mabalane remembers how her mother taught her valuable life lessons that have seen her through life since her passing.

“My mom and my brother’s [deaths] were actually six months apart. You can not even begin to express…. but I think the whole learning and having watched her and how she rises after she is knocked down ministered to me‚” she said.

Gail is the middle child out of three children and her brother Craig Nkoane passed on in an electrical accident in 2006. She also has a younger sister, Denise Nkoane.
