Today however is a special day for another one of our fave longtime couples Romeo and Basetsana Kumalo, who are celebrating over two decades of marriage.
Taking to Instagram, Bassie who is no stranger to gushing over her hubby celebrated the special day sharing how 21 years later she is choosing him and will always choose him. Bassie thanked her hubby for unconditional love that Romeo has given her and their beautiful family and asked that God continue to love and protect their union.
As a woman of faith, Basetsana thanked God for guiding them through their marriage journey and we wish them all the more years and anniversaries to celebrate together. Friends and followers flooded the post with congratulatory messages and wished the lovely couple many more years together.

Taking to Instagram in a lengthy post last year, Basetsana poured her heart out to her husband about how much of an incredible man he is. In the post the former Miss South Africa revealed that she has been with Romeo Kumalo for a total of 23 years, celebrating 20 years of married life and she can’t wait to celebrate many more years together.
Khumalo also went the extra mile and shared a video compilation of their wedding day. Romeo pulled out all the stops for his bride, even going as far as serenading her with a love song, which made many of her followers SBWL a love like theirs.
