Actress and TV personality Phumeza Mdabe has opened up about why she had left our screens. The working mom had taken some time to be with her son who was battling cancer.
“I was off-screen because I was going through some stuff with my son, who had cancer. We’re better now. The main thing is that he’s alive and I get to spend time with him every day- that’s all that matter to me”, she said.

Phumeza updated her fans on Instagram sharing her son has now started preschool. Thank goodness the star’s strong boy is recovering well.
The actress has since returned to TV as part of the new e.tv’s The Heist.
