South African Amapiano star Pabi Cooper, whose real name is Paballo Mothapo, has given 20 young girls a reason to smile ahead of their big matric dance. Partnering with essence cosmetics Africa, Pabi surprised the girls with care packages filled with beauty products and flowers to help them prepare for their special night.

The singer and dancer personally went to deliver some of the packages, capturing the moment in a touching video she shared online. The video shows the young girls screaming, crying, and jumping with excitement as they received the thoughtful gifts.

Sharing her feelings about the gesture, Pabi Cooper wrote: “My heart is full I’m so proud to announce the girls I’ll be sponsoring for their matric dance: Namalatsi, Noxolo, Thandeka, and Mbalenhle. It honestly pains me that I couldn’t sponsor every single girl, but I’m grateful to make this dream come true for these amazing young ladies. Packages are on their way to the selected 20 girls @essence.cosmetics.africa care boxes and as always, permission and approval was received from each family before recording.”
