Nomzamo Mbatha Remembers Her Late Sister With A Touching Tribute. Losing a loved one is a very hard thing to experience, especially if one had a close relationship with the deceased. Each year Nomzamo Mbatha takes the time to remember her younger sister Carla who passed away some years ago.
Nomzamo tragically lost her younger sister Carla in 2014 after she committed suicide. No matter how many years may pass by, Nomzamo claims that the wound will never fully heal. The talented actress, media personality and activist has gets emotional about the death of her sister especially on significant days like the anniversary of her death and birthday.
Taking to Instagram the actress penned a lengthy tribute to her sister who would have turned 27 this year. Mbatha shared how each year she mourns her death however, this years she has made more progress in accepting that she is no longer with us. Nomzamo wished Carla a happy heavenly 27th birthday and reminisced about the wonderful person her sister was.
“Year 7. Every year I bring flowers, a heart in pieces and tears of agony. This year I brought balloons and a heart on the mend to peace and halfway to true acceptance.nHeavenly 27th birthday ? ? to my twin and baby sister @carla_hd … who loved DEEPLY AND LOUDLY. When she chose you, she truly chose you and would be your first line of defence like a true Scorpio. She was brave and true, honest, extremely kind and seriously funny. Courageous in every way, beautiful on all fronts and my very own soft landing.” she wrote.
Nomzamo shared how the love for her sister will always remain constant and she will miss her for the rest of her life. She added that they will meet in the after life and prays that Carla will always be her guardian angel.
I will love her for all my days on earth and miss her equally as much. I serve a merciful God that made it possible for us to live in this lifetime together and be of kin and blood. Here’s to 27 my Ninja… I will meet you on the other side someday. Pray you always watch over me” she wrote.
Fans and followers sent Nomzamo touching messages of comfort and wished her and her family strength through the sensitive moment.
