Miss South Africa 2024, Mia Le Roux, has just made a heartwarming announcement — she is officially engaged! The beauty queen shared stunning photos with her fiancé, Luke Tenoever, showing off their love, her radiant smile, and her beautiful engagement ring.

In an emotional post, Mia wrote: “Hello there FIANCE, cannot wait to become your wife @luke_tenoever. The immense love, patience and sacrifice you have shown me this year has been nothing short of incredible. From the way you hold space for me with calm and steadiness in life’s tough moments, to the way we lose ourselves in laughter over the silliest things.

My heart will choose you over and over again, even though you have to inspect your cricket kit for an hour first when I ask for a cup of coffee. We have been engaged for a while now and mutually agreed that we just want to enjoy our little bubble. This one moment that just belonged to us for a little while. And now we are ready to share our joy with the world. We said yes to forever.”

Fans and fellow pageant queens flooded the comments with love and congratulations. Miss South Africa 2023, Natasha Joubert, wrote: “EHKKKK!!!!! We are so so happy for you Mia & Luke! This will be the best journey ever!”

Miss South Africa 2020, Shudufhadzo Musida, also left a sweet message saying: “Congratulations.”

Some followers couldn’t help but notice a trend among Miss South Africa winners. Kamogelo Chill commented, “Clearly, Miss SA is a wedding hot spot because wow… Congratulations beautiful Mia.”

Another follower, Sibusi Sibz, said, “One thing about Miss SA’s? They will get married!”

This engagement comes just a few months after other Miss South Africa queens tied the knot. In March 2025, Natasha Joubert married her long-time love, Enrico Vermaak, in a fairytale wedding at the Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands.

Also in March, Miss South Africa 2019, Zozibini Tunzi, surprised fans by announcing her wedding. She posted, “22/03/2025. I love you endlessly … husband.” Her beautiful wedding was held at the Belair Pavilion in the Western Cape.

It seems love is in full bloom in the Miss South Africa family — and now Mia and Luke are the latest to say “yes” to forever.
