Nomuzi Mabena has finally spoken out about her MTV Base exit and the backlash she received after joining Vuzu. In an interview with Channel 24, the rapper says she doesn’t feed into the negativity but focuses more on the positive.
The says leaving MTV Base felt like graduating and although she’s new at Vuzu, it’s an exciting journey for her. Nomuzi says she doesn’t pay attention to negative social media comments. “There are people on social media who are there for the right reasons, it’s always important to focus on them.”
“It wasn’t always easy but at some point you’ll realize not everyone is going to like you, the same way you have things that you don’t like. Once you know you can’t please everybody, it becomes easy to swallow.”
