Nandi Mngoma On Inspiring African Women.

Nandi Mngoma has always been quite the inspiration in the entertainment industry, not only with her musical journey but her journey into the acting scene as well.

The one thing that makes Nandi stand out from the rest is how humble she’s been able her success and how she embraces her natural beauty.

Over the years her hair has become her trademark and it’s really hard to picture her without her natural hair.

The musician and actress shares that she’s always wanted to be an inspiration to young girls and women across the nation and well through her hard work she’s achieved just that.

Taking to Instagram Nandi shares that her goal from 2009 “was to inspire ladies of all ages to love their natural hair”, and slowly but surely she’s done just that.

The natural hair community has grown immensely and it’s mostly because of public figures like Nandi that are embracing their natural hair through all the pressures of being ‘fake’ in the industry.

She then adds that her hair has inspired women across the continent and she only has her mom and her sister to thank for inspiring her.

My love and I were looking at a diary I kept from 2009 and one of my goals I wrote down “was to inspire ladies of all ages to love their natural hair”.
