Rapper and TV personality Nadia Nakai is making major moves both internationally and at home. The star recently took to Instagram to share highlights from her trip to China, where she attended the International Alcohol Beverage Expo.
During the event, Nadia rubbed shoulders with top leaders and proudly represented South Africa. She captioned one of her posts, “Former Chinese Ambassador of South Africa Siyabonga Cwele, Mr George Sebulela and myself had the honour of meeting the Governor of Guizhou Li Bingjun at the South African stand at the International Alcohol Beverages Expo in China.”
Fans following her Instagram stories also got a closer look at her adventures abroad. She shared moments of tasting Chinese food and exploring the lively atmosphere, showing that she was fully embracing the cultural experience.
But Nadia’s travels are not the only reason she’s trending. She is also back on TV screens with the much-anticipated second season of her reality show, Nadia – Beyond Bragga. The show officially premiered on Saturday, 6 September 2025, at 19:00 CAT on BET Africa, with repeats airing on MTV Base every Tuesday at 17:30 from September 9, 2025.
The 10-part series promises to show fans a deeper side of the star. Speaking to The Citizen, Nadia explained that viewers can expect to see more of her personal growth and emotional journey this season.
She said, “What made me decide to open up even more this time around is just more of my dynamics around me. In Season 2 everybody got into their stride. They were comfortable, and that made it easier for me to be comfortable, too. We could all give our authentic selves as a collective.”
