The Miss South Africa Organisation has officially announced the date for the highly anticipated Miss South Africa 2025 Grand Finale. Mark your calendars—on 25 October 2025, the prestigious beauty pageant will take place at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria.
This year promises to be a night filled with glamour, power, and history in the making, as the country crowns its next Miss South Africa. Fans of the pageant can expect a dazzling showcase of talent, strength, and inspiration from the women competing for the crown.
Alongside the big reveal of the finale date, the Miss South Africa Organisation also introduced the judges who will help decide which contestants make it into the Top 10. On Monday, three powerhouse women were announced as this year’s judges: Ndavi Nokeri, Devi Sankaree Govender, and Liezel van der Westhuizen.
Liezel van der Westhuizen, a certified neuroscience and mental fitness/executive business coach as well as a well-known TV and radio presenter, explained what the crown truly stands for.
“Miss South Africa is not just about beauty. It’s about resilience, service and the ability to inspire others. The women we have chosen for this year’s Top 10 embody determination and compassion and they are ready to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond,” said Liezel.
Ndavi Nokeri, Miss South Africa 2022, who also made it to the Top 16 at Miss Universe, shared her vision of the ideal winner.
“In a Miss South Africa I’m looking for a woman who has a deep understanding of the country that she wants to represent. Our country has a lot of complexities, so someone with also a good strong head on her shoulders I think would make a great Miss South Africa,” said Ndavi, who is also a model, entrepreneur, and education equity activist.
Renowned journalist and television presenter Devi Sankaree Govender added that boldness will be key.
“I’m looking for someone who’s absolutely bold and brave. I don’t want somebody sitting there and giving me the same old answers. I want somebody who’s not afraid to speak their mind. Because it’s only when you speak the truth that you can bring about any kind of change,” said Devi.
With the finale date set and judges ready, South Africans are now counting down to October, when a new queen will be crowned to carry the Miss South Africa legacy forward.
