BET Award-winning artist Makhadzi is calling on her loyal fans, known as the Khadzinators, for help in choosing the perfect album cover for her upcoming release. In a heartfelt and humorous post, the vibrant star asked her followers to help her make a tough decision.
“Hi KHADZINATORS, the pressure is getting worse now. Please help me choose my album cover picture, I am confused, please help me,” she wrote.
The new album features a fun and deeply personal character — Sesi Ka Rose, who Makhadzi described in a lively and relatable way:
“PLEASE NOTE THAT SESI KA ROSE is a hard-working ladie, who can work anywhere as long as she gets money to feed her family.
But she makes sure that on weekends she goes out with friends to party. She likes going to a Tarven, but her friends force her to go to a fancy club because they enjoy her entertainment.
She doesn’t even understand English songs but she pretends like she knows. When they play slow songs, okare akaloma DJ ore adlale fast beats — her aim is to sweat when she’s dancing. She’s the only person who doesn’t sit down at groove. She dances till sunrise.
Sesi Ka Rose is a happy soul. She always wants to see people happy. Please help me choose a perfect picture guys.”.
But that’s not all Makhadzi is up to. As a way of celebrating her success and her roots, the singer recently returned to Thohoyandou taxi rank in Venda, the very place where her music journey began. There, she surprised fans with a powerful performance, officially launching the first phase of her Makhadzi: One Woman Show.
The upcoming show, titled Womandla!, will take place on December 20 and 21, 2025, at Makhuvha Stadium and Rabali Stadium, with over 30,000 fans expected at each venue. Makhadzi says the event is more than just a concert — it’s a tribute to her roots, her growth, and the strength of African women.
The first phase of the lineup features an all-female roster of heavy-hitters, including DJ Zinhle, Nomcebo Zikode, and rising star Shandesh. Somizi Mhlongo and MickeyBlack are also set to host the show, adding even more star power to the event
From taxi ranks to stadiums, Makhadzi continues to inspire — and she’s doing it with her fans right by her side.
