In a dramatic twist, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has dropped all charges against television presenter and rapper Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye. Accused of rape and attempted murder by actress Amanda du-Pont in February 2022, the NPA concluded there were no reasonable prospects of a successful prosecution, according to IOL Entertainment.
Among the most vocal is controversial podcaster MacG, who shared his thoughts on the latest episode of “Podcast and Chill with MacG.” In a heated segment, MacG lambasted du-Pont, calling her a “disgusting human being” and expressing his contempt in strong terms.
“I want to give a big f*** you to Amanda du-Pont, what an absolute disgusting human being. Wow, she’s so vile, I detest her,” MacG declared. He went on to reveal his own history with du-Pont, alleging that she had previously accused him of rape, causing significant personal and professional damage.
“This is a person that went on a Live and said that if there are any people who I have sexually assaulted, they must come out. She dragged my name and no one came out to this day. We lost sponsors, we lost a lot of money because of her, even to this day we are feeling the effects of that,” MacG explained, detailing the lasting impact of the accusations on his career and reputation.
MacG claimed that despite his attempts to pursue legal action against du-Pont, the case was allegedly “shut down” due to her connections. His comments have reignited debates about the complexities and consequences of public accusations, particularly within the entertainment industry.
