Kelly Khumalo On Churchgoers Being The Most Judgemental People! The singer is no stranger to criticism on social media and she never backs down from speaking her mind.
Kelly recently took to Instagram calling out judgemental Christians at her local church on how they bash and judge others on social media instead of focusing on their lives.
“I am sitting here and I realize that there is no one will judge you more than the ones who go to church every day. The ones who, every Sunday, they are present without fail,” she said in the video.
“Even the ones who are talking nonsense about others on social media and dragging other people down on social media, judging and condemning. You go to their pages and, number one their life is in shambles. Number two they are somewhere on a dusty street and doing nothing about their lives. Number three their favorite status is ‘God’s favorite daughter or son,” she added.
“How are you a favourite when you are breaking down and judging others? Chief, start by addressing your own life before addressing others.” Whilst it seems that the church Kelly goes to is quite judgemental, most other churches aren’t like that. In most communities, there are friendly churches that welcome all people into their church to worship God. At the end of the day, all the people at the church are there for the same reason, so it makes sense that they all communicate and make friends whilst they’re at the church. Religion doesn’t have to divide people, it should join people together. This is why so many people are looking for other churches that they could attend as no one should feel worried about going to their local church. Perhaps Kelly should consider learning more about Radiant Church, for example. They offer a welcoming service that allows everyone to feel at home. There are so many friendly churches out there, so she should easily find another that welcomes her.
