Reality TV star and content creator Jojo Robinson is feeling grateful for her time on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa. The star shared highlights from her exciting adventure in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, reflecting on the journey and the amazing women she met along the way.
On Instagram, Jojo wrote, “And it comes to and end tommorrow… Im so fortunate to have met all these amazing women from around the country. We shot this show nearly a year ago at this point and time seems to have flown by and stood still simultaneously .. So much happened and so much was NEVER shown. Two sides can exist one of which would never make the cut… But this is tv and thats what you sign up for… At the end of the day im so grateful to be given opportunities like this… I was so scared to travel across the world alone and yet I did and the experience I had was very different to what the country got to see.. RIO was magical, chaotic, dramatic, along with so many other things . But above all im just grateful. Would i do it again?…….”
The Showmax Original brought together fan favourites from Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in Brazil. The cast from The Real Housewives of Durban includes Annie Mthembu, Angel Ndlela, and Jojo Robinson herself. Johannesburg is represented by Christall Kay and Evodia Mogase, while Nairobi brings Dr Catherine Masitsa and Zena Nyambu. Nigerian stars Princess Jecoco from Abuja and Mariam Timmer from Lagos also joined the exciting trip.
Speaking to Showmax about meeting the other ladies, Jojo said, “My first impression of meeting the ladies was that it was cool to see people you’ve watched on TV in person and that they all looked exactly the same as they do on camera. Honestly, everyone was very much what I expected, as I did watch most of the seasons to prepare. They were all just like they were on their shows.”
From magical moments to chaotic adventures, Jojo’s experience on the show was full of excitement, drama, and personal growth. Despite the challenges of traveling alone, she says she is grateful for the opportunity and the memories she made along the way.
