Given Stuurman Reportedly Threatens To Kill His Family Following Domestic Violence Incident. Gender based violence has become a pandemic in our country and more celebs have been exposed for committing such acts. Many public figures have spoken up against domestic violence on social media and have encouraged victims to speak up however, the numbers seem to be rapidly rising.

The Sunday World publication has reported that E.tv’s Scandal! actor Given Stuurman who plays the role of Kgosi has allegedly threatened to kill the mother of his child, their daughter and also commit suicide. The actor’s partner alleged that Stuurman has also threatened to kill her family and anyone that tries to protect her. 

According to reports the actor is no stranger to domestic violence and his baby mama has detailed the actors violent behaviour alleging to the publication that the he tried to hit her with a phone but missed and ended up breaking the device.

His partner claims Stuurman refused to give her money to repair the phone when she went to his home in August.  He also refused for her to fetch their daughter’s clothes and toys from his house but instead, threatened to kill her.

“He is always saying that if he cannot take care of his daughter, then no one else should be allowed to do so, he would rather kill himself, my daughter, and I.” the newspaper quotes.

The woman also revealed how Stuurman get’s violent when he is angry and she has been physically harmed as a result of his aggressive episodes.

“I have been held aggressively, pushed around most of the time when we were in his place of residence.” she said.

The woman has now obtained a protection order at the Booysens magistrate court to protect herself and the family against Given however, he has yet to sign the protection order as his mother has told police that he is unavailable every time they try to serve it to him. 

The pair welcomed their daughter early last year and the first time father shared how excited he is to be a girls dad.
