Forget The Beyonce Experience! Fans Are Sharing Heartbreaking #Sasol Experience After Festival! So, the global citizen festival happened and Beyonce gave people what they wanted.

Unfortunately that’s not what twitter is talking about nor Cassper, Sho Majozi’s fire performances. What’s trending is how fans who attended the show had horrific experience on their way home at a Sasol garage close to the stadium.

Apparently a lot of thugs, some armed were waiting for the festival goers there and some lost valuable belongings, phones, wigs and some women almost got raped.

Read some of the sad stories below.

Was harrowing to say the least. It was a nightmare of the biggest proportion. And we were utterly helpless, the horror of it will have destroyed people’s lives forever.#GlobalCitizenFestivalSA #GlobalCitizen #Sasol

A stalk & deeply painful reminder of the crime & lawlessness

We started having to fight back and yell at people to stop running. The stampedes hurt a few people cos some were sitting on the ground. The sasol garage people started threatening with tazers which caused more commotion

The cousin I gave my tickets to, went with a friend and the friend got stabbed at a Sasol garage or something

— Zuko (@Zukolate) December 3, 2018

I’m actually still speechless about last night at that Sasol garage…not a single cop in site

I don’t have the energy to discuss Global Citizen cause I was mugged and I fought off 2-4 men *ALONE* at Sasol garage while your boyfriends just watched.??#GlobalCitizenFestivalSA pic.twitter.com/rgupXz4ihX

Post #GlobalCitizenFestivalSA was really hectic. We didn’t even stay for 5 minutes at Sasol and we were already running. Possessions were stolen. People were stabbed. I think I saw them try to hijack a motorcycle too?. I’ve never held my little sister that tight.

Security refused to escourt young women through the mugging spot @Sasol during and after #GlobalCitizenFestivalSA. The thugs were stationed there for hours with no police presence. pic.twitter.com/UYK668DBto

“Don’t tell me to rush, because im not the one who took your phone” thats the moment when I took out my phone and shot this video at sasol, after two ladies were robbed only for police officer to tell them this after running to them. #GlobaCitizenFestival police were bystanders pic.twitter.com/55dD7H7R0y

I legit saw thugs trying to rape a young lady at the Sasol. The screams were harrowing, her boyfriend tried to fight the guys off, luckily a crowd of men were able to help them quickly enough.

Sorry in going on about this but wow I can’t believe what was happening. Shaking.

— Zweli Mbhele ?? (@TheZweli) December 3, 2018

Wow.. I counted 17 muggings as we waited for the Uber driver. SA ?? is fucked up ????… We were pushed and threatened like nothing infront of @MetroCops and @SAPS and all they were concerned about is @Gautrain buses moving smoothly #Sasol

— ArtSlave (@tebogogxubane) December 3, 2018

Then at Sasol, other men were yelling. On some “how are yal scared of these men. Basadi le di bari”??

THESE ARE YOUR BROTHERS N BOYFRIENDS LADIES N GENTS?? #GlobaCitizenFestival pic.twitter.com/rN4CygSU3P

One of the most traumatic experiences at the Sasol garage on Nasrec.
Wow guys, I’m just glad I’m home.
Even phoned my mother to come get me instead of waiting for an Uber because I had never felt so unsafe and scared before.

— Micaela Andrews (@_Mookx) December 3, 2018

Beyonce is all forgotten shem. All I’ll remember is the trauma from Sasol garage #GlobalCitizenFestivalSA

— MaNyambose ? (@KhazzKhazz) December 3, 2018

Leanne, it was traumatic. The thugs were calling us “Orders”. If they wanted to prey on a person, they would say to each other “we have another order” and start aligning their approach ? #sasol #globalcitizensfestival @JoburgMPD https://t.co/pxfjXL3AoK
