South African rapper Fifi Cooper has temporarily suspended her 1 Night with Fifi Cooper Tour following an unexpected personal matter relating to gender-based violence.
The tour was set to begin at Carnival City on 25 July 2026 and was expected to feature performances by Maraza, Musiholiq, Cheez Beezy, Leon Lee, Bra Miso and many more. Fans were looking forward to the shows, but the tour has now been put on hold until further notice.
In a statement, MoCooper Records and Fifi Cooper explained why the decision was made.
“After careful consideration, we at MoCooper Records and Fifi Cooper regret to announce that unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend the 1 Night with Fifi Cooper Tour, effective immediately further details regarding new dates will be communicated in due course once finalised.”
The statement also revealed the reason behind the suspension.
“This decision was made following an unexpected personal matter relating to Gender-based violence that requires Fifi’s immediate attention. Our main objective is to urgently prioritise the safety and well-being of herself and family. As a result upcoming tour activities will be paused.”
Because of this, two planned tour dates have been cancelled. These include the 25 July show at Carnival City’s Mardi Gras Theatre and the 1 August show in Mahikeng.
The statement added, “Any further updates for public knowledge will be communicated via Fifi Cooper’s official social media channels.”
Fans who bought tickets have also been assured that they will receive their money back.
“All patrons who purchased tickets via official ticketing platforms have been contacted to receive full refunds. The refund process has already been initiated to the original method of payment. We thank you for your understanding.”
The team also thanked everyone who has shown support during this difficult time.
“On behalf of Fifi Cooper we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all those who have reached out in support. Special thanks to our media partners, brand partners and most importantly, the fans for their ongoing love, understanding, and unwavering support during an exceptionally challenging time.”
Fifi Cooper also shared a personal message with her supporters, known as FIFINATION.
“To FIFINATION I am so grateful for each and everyone of you, I can’t thank you enough for the loyalty, love and support that you’ve shown me throughout my career. I am so deeply sorry that we have had to make these changes, I apologise for any disappointment caused this was not my intention. I intend to come back stronger. I’ve always drawn so much strength from you and because of that I will face this with my head held high and leading with faith.”
