South African DJ and media personality DJ Zinhle has finally addressed the rumours surrounding her husband, Mörda Bongz, allegedly cheating on her. The gossip first gained traction when blogger Musa Khawula claimed that Bongani Mohosana, professionally known as Mörda Bongz, was involved with a much younger student named Kimberly from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

The story sparked a conversation on the podcast Spreading Humours, hosted by award-winning content creator Seemah alongside co-hosts Yanda Woods and Zille. The group discussed the viral allegations, and Seemah didn’t hold back her opinion. She said, “Men will embarrass you. Men are terrible. He seems like such a decent guy. I’m so upset. You’d look at him and think Zinhle won here kanti yinja (but he’s a dog).”

DJ Zinhle later responded to Seemah’s comment in a TikTok video, expressing how hurtful it was. She said, “Yoh, I’m so exhausted. I’ve actually been trying to ignore all the stuff that’s been happening on social media, the disrespect that comes with it. But let me tell you, nothing hit harder than someone calling my husband inja (a dog). I don’t know if I’m going to recover from that one.”
She explained that the podcast hosts, Seemah, Yanda Woods, and Zille—tried to justify their comments by saying that she hadn’t denied the allegations. Zinhle clarified her position, saying, “To justify what they said, they then said I was hurt or I didn’t deny the allegations. I said I was hurt and letting go. What? I think the thing that punished me the most about that statement was because I know the lady. I talk to her quite often in the DMs sometimes, and I’ve even bought from her business. She could have reached out to me if she was concerned, but instead, she went straight to TikTok to call my husband inja. You guys are doing a lot. You guys are brave.”
Seemah has since publicly apologized for her comment. She replied under DJ Zinhle’s video, writing, “Molo sis wam. Please do check your DMs on IG. I will also make a public apology on the podcast. I was angry, yes, but I should’ve still been respectful about it. Xolo sis wam.”
Radio host and DJ Lerato Kganyago also weighed in on the situation, commenting under Zinhle’s video: “It’s often those you share laughs with who mistakenly think they can disrespect you publicly. Respect should always go both ways.” DJ Zinhle replied, sharing her pain, “I’m heartbroken friend.”
